IG Index Improved Variable Spreads System

Scarcely a month passes that we don’t hear about some innovation or improvement from IGIndex these days and this week news from the largest spread betting company was definitely not missing.

IG Index have just announced that they are enhancing their forex spread betting offering -:

Earlier this year IG Index had introduced a variable spreads system for foreign currency pairs which allowed them to offer very tight forex spreads when the underlying market was very liquid. The problem with this system was that spread betters often found out that the real spread they were paying was often 2 or 3 times the minimum spread and this turned away many traders.

IG have now improved their variable spreads system to allow for more transparency -:.

-> The dealing spread is now displayed on the client deal ticket so that traders can easily look for IG’s lowest spreads and take advantage of them; in both Standard and Pairs views.

-> Average spread details – new charts from IG provide traders with intelligible, exact data about the average spreads IG Index have been offering on each forex pair throughout the trading day, over the past week.

IG Index’s forex spread betting service provides access to some 60 forex pairs, with IMR from just 1% on the main pairs.
