CMC Markets Software Upgrade

CMC Markets have announced a new upgrade to their flagship Marketmaker:Desktop software which includes a Live Prices Ticker, the ability to export blotter data to CSV and quite a few other bits and pieces.

The Live Prices Ticker retrieves real-time quotes from Marketmaker® and displays them in a side-scrolling ticker. You can display quotes for any group of instruments available within the system.

Instrument Search from Order Ticket

Predictive search has been added to the Order Ticket, making it easier to select instruments to trade.

Export Blotter Data to CSV

A new ‘Export Blotter’ option is now included in the right-click menu which allows the blotter data to be exported to CSV file format.

Thoughts: Improvements sound good but I just wish they would get their old charts back – since they abandoned IT-Finance’s charting, I’ve been using IG Index for my charts.
