What I don't like:

  1. Dealer referral can be a problem. There can be a delay in filling some spread bet orders; some orders need to be referred to a dealer before being confirmed and filled especially after major announcements. WorldSpreads staff say it's for fast moving markets, but it generally happens on almost all the 1 pip spreads. This should not make a difference if you are trading longer timeframes. To their credit, they have frequently re-quoted me a better price when the market moved in my favour over the 5-13 seconds or so it takes the dealer to confirm the quote.
  2. Their betting system occasionally goes 'off line' [but we're working on it ; )] when things get a bit wild (after breaking news on interest rates for instance).
  3. Stops and limits need to be placed 5 points outside the market.
  4. Spread bet reporting needs improving.
